Meet Buddy

Buddy is six years old and has never stopped believing that people are worth loving. He arrived at the SPCA of Texas after being surrendered for being “too affectionate” and needed dental care before he could begin his next chapter.

While in foster care, Buddy greeted everyone with kindness, eagerly sought affection, and even won over the family’s spicy resident cat! It didn’t take long for his foster family to realize that Buddy was exactly where he belonged—the missing piece of their family puzzle.

Today, Buddy is thriving with the family who fell in love with him and is training to become a therapy dog. One day, his gentle and loving nature may bring comfort and companionship to children in schools, hospitals, and beyond.

Buddy’s story is proof that there is no such thing as too much love. ❤️

A percentage of every sale featuring Buddy’s portrait is donated to the SPCA of Texas to help more animals like him receive the care and second chances they deserve.
