This 5” x 7” spiral notebook features my original artwork of Elmer Fudd, a rescue dog whose story reminds us why every life is worth saving.

Elmer Fudd came to 911 Dog Rescue as a puppy after being released from a puppy mill. When breeders no longer want certain dogs, they often contact rescues to take them in. Without a rescue stepping forward, many of these dogs never get the chance at the life they deserve.

As the owner of a grooming shop, I volunteer my time by grooming rescue dogs at no charge to help them look and feel their best while they wait for their forever families. That’s where I met Elmer. He came in for a bath, and it didn’t take long for him to steal my heart. Before I knew it, he wasn’t just another rescue dog—he had become part of my family.

Elmer’s story is one of the reasons I began using my artwork to give back. Every portrait I create and every Rescue Collection notebook helps shine a light on the incredible animals waiting for their second chance while supporting the rescues that make those happy endings possible.
