Meet Cy

Cy has had to start over more than once. After being left behind when his owner was evicted, he found another home—only to be returned because of allergies. Through Euclid Pet Pals / Euclid Animal Shelter, he’s waiting for someone to give him the lasting love and security he deserves.

This handsome cat is calm, gentle, and affectionate. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but with patience and a few gentle pets, his sweet personality begins to shine.

Cy is missing his right eye, a detail I wanted to honor in his portrait. It’s part of his beautiful, distinctive face, and I wanted to draw him just as he is.

I created Cy’s portrait as part of Pet Portraits with a Purpose to help his story reach someone who might otherwise never meet him. My hope is that his drawing makes someone pause, look into that sweet face, and imagine welcoming him home.
