Meet Rodger

Rodger is just over a year old and came to the SPCA of Texas after being impacted by the flooding in Uvalde and Kerrville. He arrived shy and unsure, but there’s a gentle, sensitive dog behind that first impression—and a quirky personality beginning to show. I especially love the one ear that stands proudly at attention.

Rodger is still waiting for a home. He needs a patient family who will give him time, consistency and kindness as he learns to trust.

I created Rodger’s portrait through Pet Portraits with a Purpose to help more people see him and learn his story. Twenty percent of sales of artwork and products featuring Rodger will be donated to the SPCA of Texas.
